DERMA SHEILD
- Your tattoo artist has applied a clear, adhesive, antibacterial bandage that will aid in the healing process.
- Leave this bandage on for 5-6 days
- Plasma build up is normal, the bandage is breathable and will dry out.
- If liquid build up is still there 24-36 hours after, contact your artist for reapplication.
- If any other fluids get under it (ie: water from the shower remove immediately and contact your tattoo artist for further instructions
- If any leakage seeping from the bandage and is escaping the adhesive remove immediately and contact your tattoo artist for further instructions. (With liquid either escaping or entering your adhesive wrap, bacteria can travel up the adhesive , on to your tattoo causing an infection.)
- Do not soak or submerge bandaged area.
- After removal, wash with unscented soap under warm water, pat dry after rinse, apply unscented lotion as needed. (when you feel dry or flaky).
